Has it really been a YEAR?

Its crazy to think that I moved here a year ago. And a lot has happened in that time. I have made some very good friends, met some interesting people been through a rough patch, but got my self out of it as soon as I got the strength and courage. I have had 3 great and very fun job. Bought my very own car. Had my sister and mom visit. Got to meet some of the nitro circus gang. And took a 10 day trip home for christmas.
Dec 31, 2011
The day I moved and started the adventure of finding who I am.
My drive through vegas after I landed. This is the first time I had been there.
Watching Youtube videos with D'mo my first week here.
 Giving Jo a ride.
I have really enjoyed watching these little guys grow up in the last year. They are so cute ad so funny. They have helped make this last year wonderful. And I can't wait to spend more of the years to come watching them grow into great young men.
Cant forget glow in the dark miniature golf with Beau. We had a cousins night just the two of us and had a blast mini golfing and getting cold stone ice cream.
My first job in Utah. Making ice cream at coldstone. It was such a fun job and I met some awesome people. I was surprised that it only took me a little over a month to find a job. I thought it would take a lot longer.
I loved that Mikayla got to come visit me. She came for spring break. I got to show her some of the things I enjoy doing. Like hiking dixie rock, eating cafe rio. And taking her shopping. It was great to see her after two months of being away from her and the rest of my siblings. I will never forget the week she came to visit and the time we spent just having fun.
I got to see part of the Grand Canyon. It was beautiful. I plan to see more of it this summer.
I got another amazing job at DRA(A residential rehab program for teen) working as a councilor for troubled teens. Six months after working there I quit and got a job at Lava Heights Academy where I work as a councilor for teens. Lava Heights is also a residential rehab program for teens based around the ARTS. I love doing what I do, and helping out the teens.
I bought my very own car. :) I never thought I would be buying my own car and not having to make any payments on it. I payed cash and love driving it.
It now has Zebra print seats and stearing wheel. It is totally me :)
I got to meet some of the guy of Nitro Circus and got the to sign my hat.

These guys were awesome. Greg had to be the nicest one I met that day. In his race he rode right up to the fence where I was standing to give me a high five. I missed and found him later and he gave me a high five then to make up for it.
Mom came to visit me at the end of september. We got pedicures, went shopping and just spent time together.
Her last night here we got a room at the Palms Place in vegas. We walked the strip for hours. It was so nice to just spend time together and have fun and go shopping. The next morning we had breakfast in the casino then I took her to the air port.
I decided it would be fun to cut off all of my hair. I love my hair short.
What a great Christmas. My parents flew me home for christmas and I got to spend 10 days with them. This would be the first time we would all be together in over a year. I loved watching Colton and Mikayla play basketball. It was so nice to see everyone and catch up on how we were all doing. While at home I cut more of my hair off so it is way short now, and got a new ear piercing. As much as I loved being home with my family for the holiday I was missing my new home in Utah. I flew back to Utah the 31st of december a year to the day that I moved here.

I had a great vacation but missed the life that I had started, I missed my routine, I missed going to work, and going to church, and having movie nights with my friends. It has been so nice to be back to all of it. I love what what I do for work. Its hard for me to believe that it has been a year. It has gone by so fast. I would not change any of it. It has all been a great learning experience. I can not wait to see what this year has for me. :)

6 months

Its crazy how time has flown by. I have now been living here for six months. I doesn't feel like its been that long. A lot of things have happened since I last posted. Mikayla came for a week to visit, I've found the most amazing boyfriend, and have discovered a little bit more of myself and who I want to be.
Mikayla came in March for spring break. I had so much fun showing her around and letting her see what kinds of things I liked to do. We went swimming, hiking, rock climbing, and just spent as much time together as we could. I was so nice to see her after being away from home for 3 months.
Trevor is amazing, I dont know what I would do without him. I have tried so many new things that I  would never have thought to try before. He is really big into hunting, which I have never done before. So when he told me he wanted to buy me a hunting bow I was a little skeptical. But after a while of thinking about it I let he take me to go shoot a bow to see if i would like it. I LOVED IT! So we picked out the bow that I would get and Im so excited I cant wait till I get it. He also took me 4 wheeling, which was another first for me. I again had a blast and cant wait till we go again. He is great support for me in things that I want to do, try or not try.

My Big Adventure!

I have moved and am now living in Washington, UT with my Aunt. This Adventure all started back in october after I got home from my trip with my grandparents. I loved it here so much that I decided I wanted to live here. It took lots of planning but finally everything worked out.
My parents bought me my plane ticket, and I flew out of portland to Vegas on new years eve. Im sure many are thinking that New years eve is a busy day to fly. And your right it was pretty hectic. This was also my first time flying. And that was an adventure all in its self in which I will talk more about later on.
So I got everything packed and ready to go so that I could leave my house friday afternoon. Spent all morning with mom getting our hair done and then went home to take pictures with Mikayla. After that we were on our way to Portland to stay the night at my Aunt Rachelles house.
We of course over slept, and were running late on our way to the airport. But once we got there things went pretty smooth. Now as I said this was my first time flying, it was my first time flying in alone. (thought I would kill 2 birds with one stone). Got my bags checked, and through security (I put my shoes back on the wrong feet), and then made it to the terminal in plenty of time. Once on the plane i got to choose my seat, I chose a window. (the views were amazing)
Leaving Oregon

Arriving In Navada

Vegas

I took this cause I thought it was cool that I could see inside the wing of the plane.

MGM Grand

New York New York. It think this is the closest I will ever get to New York

Coming through Arizona, I was in 5 states in less the 24 hours. How cool is that? I was exhausted by the end of the day though.

And My new room.

I am grateful that my Aunt is letting me stay at their house. This is a Huge adventure for me and will be the first time that I will be away from my family longer then a month. Im excited to do all kinds of new things and meet all kinds of new people.
